Re: “All-EV parade sends message about future,” comment, Dec. 16.
I grew up in England in the mid-1930s. Now I’m 84. (Wasn’t there a song about that?)
In Leicester, where I lived, we were served milk and other deliveries brought to our house on drays. I saw the transition from horsedrawn to electric drays and carriages. That’s right, electric.
Now, in my dotage, I see a new technology emerging amid fanfare and high prices: Electric vehicles.
For many years, I have ridden an electric-powered bicycle that is home-built.
I vote for electric!
Again.
