Shame on the District of Oak Bay for not identifying the person responsible for poisoning the horse chestnut tree on Beach Drive. The biggest deterrent for anyone else thinking of doing such a terrible act would be to name them.
The guilty person got rid of the unwanted tree, paid money and that鈥檚 it.
