The article points out that: 鈥渟a国际传媒 has also recognized [the usurper] Guaido as president鈥 over the elected leader of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.

Maduro won the vote for Venezuela鈥檚 presidency by roughly two votes to one, gaining 6,248,864 votes, 67 per cent of the vote. He handily defeated the other five candidates running for the office of president. (More than a dozen parties ran.)

Slim excuses are given to support this coup d鈥櫭﹖at, such as a lack of election observers. If Prime Minister Justin Trudeau needed such reassurance of the process, he should have provided them in advance. Having observed elections in the past in Central America and Venezuela, I鈥檓 aware that observation is more important when the results are close; these are nowhere close.

There is no justification for supporting another U.S. coup in the Americas, to add to the more than three dozen already on record. They don鈥檛 improve ordinary folks鈥 lives, as has been proven. Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland, withdraw sa国际传媒鈥檚 support for the usurper Guaido.
