Of all of the hundreds of election signs I see around the lower Island, emblazoned with all sorts of messages and claims, I have seen only one that says: 鈥淧lease鈥� re-elect me. I find it very refreshing to see a little humility expressed by our candidates, and this candidate for Saanich council has got my attention.
