We are bailing out ourselves

Re: 鈥淕overnment plans $1.1B bailout to plug sa国际传媒 Hydro losses on power projects,鈥� Feb. 15. So sa国际传媒 is bailing out sa国际传媒 Hydro to the tune of $1.1 billion.

So sa国际传媒 is bailing out sa国际传媒 Hydro to the tune of $1.1 billion. Isn鈥檛 that just us bailing out ourselves? Shifting that much money from one pocket to another is just going to wear out our pants prematurely.

It sounds as if the biggest winners will be those who waste energy. Is subsidizing millionaires鈥� Hydro bills really the best plan for our tax dollars?
