Fine, we understand that there might be a need for a speculation tax in sa国际传媒
The administration of this tax, however, by applying an inconvenience to probably more than 99 per cent of property owners to whom it does not apply (by requiring everyone to apply for an exemption) could not more clearly illustrate the inefficiency and bureaucratic mindset of government.
What will this process cost, and will that cost, obviously borne by taxpayers, exceed the amount collected from the proposed speculation tax?
Orwellian.
