I find it amazing that Green Party Leader Andrew Weaver is now saying publicly how much he is against the speculation tax. Last summer, when it was proposed, I attended a riding meeting at Oak Bay High School where he told all of us, about 300, that he would never vote yes for the tax.
Later at a private meeting I attended with him, developers, Realtors and some lawyers, we explained what it could do to the housing industry, and he again said he would never vote yes for it, not to worry. He did the same thing last September at the Union of sa国际传媒 Municipalities, saying he would never vote for it.
How does anyone say these things time and again and then vote for it? It could never have happened without his support. There is a word for it, but I won鈥檛 use it. I was always a fan, but not anymore. Time for you to go, Andrew.
