Re: 鈥淲hy sa国际传媒 voters rejected electoral reform,鈥 Dec. 22. I certainly, as we all do, accept the democratic rejection of proportional representation 鈥 knowing, however, that people have been known to vote themselves right out of democracy.

Apparently, I belong to the minority who voted in favour of electoral reform. I can鈥檛 say that I was thrilled by how the referendum was constructed. It was confusing. It should have been simpler.
