It has been stated that moving to one of the three forms of proportional representation on the referendum ballot would facilitate moderation and co-operation, and discourage extreme positions and confrontation.

I immigrated to sa国际传媒 from Germany two years ago and have started a family here. The mixed-member-proportional representation system has worked well in Germany for decades on all levels (from city district council to the federal parliament).

Regardless of whether one supports first-past-the-post or a form of proportional representation, we must vote 鈥淣o鈥� in the electoral-reform referendum.
