Proportional representation isn鈥檛 just an effort to make the Green Party relevant, as some people claim. PR is an effort to make every vote count.

One hour to drive 12 kilometres. That鈥檚 now the average commute time from Langford to Victoria. Unacceptable.

The proportional-representation referendum is an example of political illusionists holding five aces. Voters are being coerced into a sleight-of-hand illusion. The shaky coalition asks the voter to 鈥渢rust them鈥� while we hand over a blank cheque.
