The Montreal Alouettes have rewarded non-import offensive lineman Ryan Bomben for his breakout season, signing the third-year guard to a three-year contract extension.
The six-foot-four 300-pounder from Burlington, Ont., also lined up as a tight end and played on special teams this past year. He scored his first CFL touchdown in Week 18 with a five-yard catch in a win over Edmonton.
Bomben, 25, dressed in all 18 regular-season games for the second straight sea-son in 2012.
