The District 7 Beacon Hill-Layritz team, representing sa国际传媒, defeated the USA East representative from Pennsylvania, 4-1 in the semifinals on Saturday at the 15-17 Big League Girls Little League Softball World Series in Delaware. Beacon Hill-Layritz advanced to today鈥檚 final.
Beacon Hill-Layritz pitcher Kaia Gyorfi struck out nine batter over seven innings for the win. Rien Milliken led the offence with a two-run homer and a double.
The final, broadcast on ESPN in the U.S., begins at 9 a.m. today and will be shown at the Tally-Ho Sports Bar and Grill.
