Birdie run gives Kevin Carrigan a win on Performance Tour

Kevin Carrigan of Royal Colwood shot a standout 2-under-par 69 in the rain Sunday, including seven birdies, to win the fourth installment of the 15-event Bayview Place Performance Tour at Cordova Bay Golf Course.

Josh Miller of the University of Victoria Vikes was second with an even-par round of 71, with Nate Ollis finishing alone in third place with 72. Rounding out the top five were Alex Cordero of Highland Pacific, Zach Anderson of Nanaimo and Jake Duvall of Uplands.

The field of 24 brought together a strong list of players highlighted by former PGA Tour Champions member Jim Rutledge, 2018 PGA of sa国际传媒 player of the year Oliver Tubb and European Challenge Tour player Evan Holmes.

Carrigan鈥檚 victory pushed him ahead of Ollis by a slim margin atop the Order of Merit. Carrigan has 1,475 points and Ollis 1,435. Cordero is third with 990 points.

The top three finishers in the season-long Order of Merit standings will earn exemptions into PGA Tour sa国际传媒鈥檚 Bayview Place DC Bank Open in May at the Uplands Club.
