In quadruple-A play, the No. 4 Oak Bay Bays bounced back from an 81-60 quarter-final loss late Thursday to No. 5 Walnut Grove to defeat Holy Cross 64-62. The Bays will meet Kitsilano for fifth place today at 4:45 p.m.
Madhu McConnell had 23 points on Friday for Oak Bay.
In triple-A consolation play, Duchess Park defeated Nanaimo Christian 66-59; Wellington lost 75-62 to Valleyview; and Mark Isfeld defeated Abbotsford 75-49.
In single-A girls鈥 play at Duncan Christian, the host Chargers downed St. Andrew鈥檚 61-51 in consolation play. That tournament ends today with a 5 p.m. championship tip-off after the 3 p.m. bronze-medal game.
