Moses Danto headed in a corner kick at 30 minutes to give the host Calgary Foothills a 1-0 victory over the visiting Victoria Highlanders on Sunday in Premier Development League soccer action.
The result, coupled with Calgary's 2-0 win over Victoria on Friday, means the Foothills gained the full six points in their opening two regular-season games while the Highlanders are winless to open their season.
The Highlanders' home opener is next Sunday at Centennial Stadium against Portland Timbers U-23.
