sa国际传媒 put together its most solid effort of the weekend Sunday, defeating England 35-12 at the HSBC World Women's Rugby Sevens Series at Westhills Stadium.

The win set up a rematch with Ireland for fifth place at the world sevens event in Langford, sa国际传媒, located just west of Victoria.

sa国际传媒 defeated Ireland 19-17 Saturday in a thrilling match that was decided on the last play of the game. But the Canadians lost its quarterfinal game to the United States earlier Sunday.

Canadian Bianca Farella, with two tries against England, said the team had its most consistent effort against the British team.

"Everything was really coming together," she said. "We're really proud we got our groove on day two. We can't put our foot off the gas. We have to keep going."

Canadians Sara Kaljuvee and Hannah Darling had one try each. Captain Ghislaine Landry scored one try and booted four conversions.

sa国际传媒's record now stands at three wins, and two losses, defeating England, Ireland and Spain, but losing to Australia and the U.S.

sa国际传媒 is on home turf this weekend looking to break out of an extended slump that saw the team finish fourth at the recent Commonwealth Games in Australia and fail to qualify for the medal round at a Sevens Series event in Japan.
