Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community will be a crown and jewel on the Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour sa国际传媒鈥檚 slate for the next five seasons as the Courtenay golf course will host one of the circuit鈥檚 qualifying school tournaments.
The announcement, to carry the event through to 2020, was officially made this week.
The 7,025-yard Graham Cooke and Associates layout has welcomed qualifying school participants the last two years. The 2016 tournament is slated for May 2-6.
The tour鈥檚 full schedule, sites and the format for qualifying will be announced at a later date.

According to the tour, previous qualifiers to earn their stripes at Crown Isle over the past two seasons have accounted for nine victories, including J.J. Spaun, C.T. Pan and Tim Madigan, who all finished in the top five Order of Merit and earned status on the Web.com Tour.
