The two Island Division teams hook up again at Bear Mountain Arena tonight at 7:15 and the Grizzlies come in with three straight losses (two in extra sessions) and six defeats in their last nine games.

Reid Sturos scored with just 11 seconds to go in the second overtime session, much to the delight of the Nanaimo faithful.

Keyler Bruce had opened the scoring for Victoria at 5:56 of the first period after a power play had ended.

Kyle Kramer, on a man advantage, tied it for the Clippers at 11:05 of the second period. Mason Mitchell made it 2-1 for Nanaimo almost eight minutes later as the hosts took a 2-1 advantage into the third.

The Grizzlies generated just six shots in the middle frame after out-shooting their hosts 16-13 in the opening 20 minutes.

But Turner Lawson tied it for Victoria with 2:13 to go in the third period on a delayed penalty call.

Victoria, now 33-12-0-8 for 74 points, go one point up on the Surrey Eagles, who did not play Friday. The Penticton Vees also earned a point in a 3-2 overtime loss to Trail to move within one of Victoria for the overall sa国际传媒 Hockey League lead.
