HarbourCats add arms

Josh Mitchell, a junior left-handed pitcher from the University of Pittsburgh, is returning to the Victoria HarbourCats for the 2016 West Coast League season. The native of Ridgway, Pennsylvannia, went 2-2 with three saves in 12 appearances for Victoria in 2015. He is currently 0-1 through five appearances this spring for Pitt.

The HarbourCats also announced three more pitcher signings Wednesday.

Holden Lyons is a bullpen arm at Oklahoma City University, an NAIA baseball powerhouse. As a sophomore, Lyons posted a 2.22 ERA, six saves and an 8-3 record. As a junior this season, he currently has a 2.21 ERA and two saves in 12 appearances. Christian Jarnagin, a pitcher from Mill Creek, Washington, is 2-0 so far this season at Everett Community College with a save and 3.15 ERA. Brandon Lane is a freshman at Everett CC and is 1-1 with a 3.37 ERA in six appearances.

The HarbourCats open the 2016 WCL season June 3 in Walla Walla, Washington, against the Sweets. — sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
