HarbourCats led Kelowna Falcons in聽ninth inning

At press time Friday night, the HarbourCats (4-4) led 11-5 in the top of the ninth inning to begin a three-game West Coast League baseball set against the Kelowna Falcons (1-5).

Newcomer Tyson Hays from NCAA Illinois State hit a home run for the HarbourCats in his debut. Another newcomer, six-foot-nine Jack Neely from the University of Texas Longhorns, started on the mound for Victoria and went three solid innings.

The 鈥機ats return home to start a three-game set against the Bend Elks of Oregon Monday at Wilson鈥檚 Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park.
