The Victoria HarbourCats on Friday announced the club鈥檚 finalized coaching staff for the 2016 West Coast League baseball season.
The staff is led by returning head coach Graig Merritt, who guided the team to a franchise-best 29 wins in 2015, as well as returning assistants Joe Meggs and Andrew Wilson.
New additions include Joe Fabre and GM Kelly Norris-Jones doing double duty.聽
The team also announced that 2015 assistant coach Jerry Pena and pitching coach Alec Adame are unable to return this summer for personal and professional reasons.
The HarbourCats open the 2016 WCL season on the road in Walla Walla, Washington, on June 3. The home opener at Royal Athletic Park is against Wenatchee on June 7.
