COWLITZ, Washington — The Victoria HarbourCats continued a three-game West Coast League baseball series in Cowlitz, Washington, with a 3-2 victory on Saturday night against the Black Bears.
Dustin Miller drove in the winning run in the 10th inning. Victoria starter Garrett Goodall delivered six innings of one-hit ball. Victoria is 4-4 in the second half of the season and 18-17 overall in the North Division. The Black Bears are 3-5 in second half and 13-22 overall in the South Division.
Victoria won the first game 4-3 Friday night. The series concludes with a matinée today.
Following the WCL all-star game on Tuesday in Port Angeles — in which HarbourCats pitchers Garrett Goodall and Tyler Yoshihara and slugger Jeddediah Fagg will compete — Victoria returns to Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park on Wednesday. That will be to begin a three-game home set against the Corvallis Knights.
