The Westshore Rebels defeated the Kamloops Broncos 32-27 in sa国际传媒 Football Conference action over the weekend at Hillside Stadium in the Interior.
The victory came largely through the legs of running-back Gerren Hardisty, who rushed for 205 yards on 18 carries for Westshore. The Rebels got touchdowns from Te Jessie, Zion Brown-Dogbee, Cairo Berry and Ignacio Solorzano as they rallied from a 17-11 halftime deficit to move to 5-1 on the season as Kamloops fell to 2-4.
The Rebels meet the league-leading Okanagan Sun (5-0) on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Starlight Stadium.
The VI Raiders (1-5) come off their bye week to host the Valley Huskers of Chilliwack (3-2) on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Nanaimo District Secondary field.
