A pair of Islanders are in the hunt for a national golf title.

Mark Valliere from Courtenay and Darren Day of Royal Colwood are tied for seventh place, four shots off the pace, heading into today's final round of the Canadian Junior Boys Golf Championship at the Osprey Ridge Golf Club in Bridgewater, N.S.

Valliere fired a 3-under 68 Thursday, while Day carded a 2-over 73 for 218 totals (5-over).

Daniel Knight from Montreal is the thirdround leader after his 73 (214 overall). Knight has a one-shot advantage over Luke Moser of Waterloo, Ont., and Ryan Borg from Orangeville, Ont.

Team sa国际传媒 - Matthew Broughton from Royal

Colwood, Kevin Ko from Coquitlam and Chris Crisologo from Richmond - won the Inter-Provincial Team Championship. Team sa国际传媒 won the title in a playoff against Team Ontario.

Broughton, who came back to capture the sa国际传媒 Junior Boys' Championship in July, made a birdie putt on the first playoff hole to clinch the win for Team sa国际传媒
