DOVER, Delaware - If Dover International Speedway was supposed to be one of Brad Keselowski's weaknesses in the Chase, the rest of the field best beware of his strengths.

Coming into Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Dover, most of the focus appeared to be on a championship battle shaping up between Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin.

Even through two-thirds of Sunday's race, that storyline appeared validated. Yet, when the last of 400 laps were run in the AAA 400, it was Keselowski holding off Jeff Gordon for the victory and - for this week anyway - taking a small lead (five points) over Johnson in the series standings.

The win is Keselowski's fifth this season - tying him with Hamlin for the most in the series - and second in the first three Chase races.

"Everybody said coming to Dover this was going to be our weakness. I didn't believe it," Keselowski said. "We felt like we could come here to win."
