This was one way to celebrate an Island derby in the Harbour City. The Nanaimo NightOwls snapped a nine-game Victoria HarbourCats’ winning streak with a 5-3 West Coast League baseball victory Wednesday night at Serauxmen Stadium.
League-leading Victoria opened the three-game series by exploding for five runs in the 11th inning for a 9-4 win on Tuesday night. The series concludes tonight at Serauxmen Stadium.
