Mount Washington is gearing up for an early opening on Nov. 30 and that means the Strathcona Nordic Ski Club is gearing up for another season.
The club offers both competitive and recreational cross-country skiing. Communications director Barb Kelly says now is the time to register for beginner, intermediate and advanced programs for children, youth and adults.
The recreational programs run for 10 weeks starting Jan. 12 and if you sign up before Nov. 30, there are special early bird rates.
