For several years, Victoria's Stan Peterec has been known as a promoter and trainer for mixed martial arts and boxing.
Tonight, Peterec returns to the ring in Summer Slugfest VI at Archie Browning Sports Centre.
The doors open at 6 p.m.
Peterec will fight Tracy Huber from Kamloops.
The 53-year-old Peterec spent two months training in Thailand where he lost 40 pounds to get down to the middle weight class.
The other confirmed bouts have Lindsay Ball facing Kate McGray, Hal Kreisel against Andrew Lewis, Ben Lee vs. Adam Pronyk, Alex Tribe meets Ron Pierson and Bryan Coll well battles Dan Baxter.
