The Port Angeles Lefties will be the newest West Coast League opponents of the Victoria HarbourCats in 2017.
The baseball franchise was officially launched on Friday in Port Angeles. The Kitsap BlueJackets franchise has been moved to Port Angeles, so the WCL will remain at 11 franchises in 2017.
The HarbourCats are the defending WCL regular-season champions.
The 2017 WCL season, which features U.S. collegiate NCAA players in summer ball, opens in June.
