Rebels and Raiders meet Saturday to close out BCFC regular season

The Westshore Rebels and Vancouver Island Raiders close out their sa国际传媒 Football Conference regular seasons Saturday at 7 p.m. with the Island derby at Starlight Stadium.

Westshore (6-3) has qualified for the playoffs with its semifinal opponent and venue to be decided by results this weekend. The Vancouver Island Raiders (1-8) will miss the playoffs in the seven-team league.

The top four teams will advance to the BCFC playoff semifinals next Saturday. The Cullen Cup BCFC championship game is scheduled for Oct. 22 at the home of the highest-remaining seed.

The BCFC champion will play the Ontario Football Conference champion Oct. 29 in the national semifinal with the winner advancing to the Canadian Bowl national championship game to be hosted Nov. 12 by the champion of the Prairie Football Conference.
