The Road to Williamsport began Saturday at National Little League as the District 7 playdowns began.
Action continues today and Monday with games at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The round robin portion continues with games Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
The rain day is Friday with the playoff semifinals next Saturday with the first- and fourth-place teams and second- and third-place teams meeting at noon and 3 p.m. The championship game is next Sunday at noon.
The participating teams are National, Beacon Hill, Lakehill, Hampton, Layrtiz and Central Saanich.
The District 7 winner will advance to the sa国际传媒 championships July 15-23 at Mount Seymour. The sa国际传媒 champion will advance to the Canadian championships Aug. 1-0 in Regina. The Canadian champion will earn a berth in the famed Little League World Series from Aug. 16 to 27 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
