Rough ride as Vikes women lose again in Saskatoon, men rebound

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies women鈥檚 basketball team continues to roll, and there鈥檚 nothing the University of Victoria Vikes could do about it. The U Sports No. 1-ranked Huskies rolled over the Vikes 102-72 on Saturday night in Saskatoon.

The U Sports No. 1-ranked Huskies rolled over the Vikes 102-72 on Saturday night in Saskatoon. Saskatchewan sits atop the sa国际传媒 West standings at 12-0, while the Vikes, who also lost to Saskatchewan on Friday night, drop to 7-5.

In the men鈥檚 game, the Vikes bounced back from Friday night鈥檚 defeat at the hands of the Huskies, to down Saskatchewan 94-74.

The Vikes got 26 points from Matthew Ellis and 25 from Scott Kellum to improve their聽record to 8-3.

The Huskies, who drop to 9-3, got 33 points from J.T. Robinson.

UVic returns to action next week when they play a home-home series with the UBC Thunderbirds starting on Thursday night in Vancouver and聽finishing Saturday night at CARSA gym.
