The Victoria Royals and Vancouver Giants continued their Western Hockey League rivalry Saturday night at the Langley Events Centre with the Royals prevailing 6-2. Tanner Scott led Victoria with two goals.
That followed Vancouver’s 2-1 overtime victory over the Royals on Friday night at Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.
The Royals, with 15 games remaining, continue their quest for a playoff spot by hosting the Saskatoon Blades next Friday at the Memorial Centre.
That will be followed by three consecutive games against the major-junior Canadian Hockey League No. 4-ranked Seattle Thunderbirds — in Kent, Washington, next Saturday and at the Memorial Centre on Feb. 20-21.
