Scutt captures Cedar Hill Open title

Gordy Scutt won the 2013 Cedar Hill Open golf tournament Sunday in extra holes. The tournament ended with Scutt, pro Stuart Anderson of Sooke and amateur Sean Hay of Colwood tied with at a two-day total of seven under-par.

The tournament ended with Scutt, pro Stuart Anderson of Sooke and amateur Sean Hay of Colwood tied with at a two-day total of seven under-par. The three players then took part in a sudden-death playoff, which went three holes before Hay was eliminated. Scutt bested Anderson on the fourth hole to capture his second career Cedar Hill Open title.

Hay was the low gross amateur winner. Tom West was the winner of the John Merriman Trophy as overall low-net champion.
