The Victoria Royals’ franchise-record winning streak has ended at 11 games.
The Royals fell 4-2 on Sunday evening to the Seattle Thunderbirds in a Western Hockey League game played in Kent, Washington.
That also halted a franchise-record tying run of 14 consecutive games in which Victoria earned at least a point.
Keegan Kolesar led Seattle with three goals. Tyler Soy and Dante Hannoun, the latter on the power play, scored the goals for Victoria.
The Royals are in Portland to play the Winterhawks on Monday.
