The best senior baseball players in sa国际传媒 will descend on Gordon Head this weekend.
The 2018 PWB provincial senior men鈥檚 championships begin on Friday and run through Monday at Lambrick Park.
The tournament starts with an all-Island game with Nanaimo playing Victoria Mavericks No. 2 at 3 p.m. That is followed by two games at 6 p.m. with the Lower Mainland No. 2 Coquitlam Angels playing Victoria Mavericks No. 1 on the main diamond and Okanagan meeting Ladysmith on the second diamond.
The Lower Mainland No. 1 Burnaby Bulldogs and Trail jump into the mix at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday with action running through 6 p.m. on both diamonds. Play resumes from 10 a.m. to 6聽p.m. on Sunday.
Playoff day is Monday with the semifinals at 9:30 a.m. and the championship game at 1 p.m.
The 2018 sa国际传媒 champion will represent the province in the 2019 Canadian senior championships.
The Coquitlam Angels are the defending 2017 sa国际传媒 champions, and as such, will represent the province in the 2018 Canadian senior championships Aug. 22-26 at Wilson鈥檚 Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park, along with a host Victoria Mavericks all-star team. 鈥攕a国际传媒
