The Victoria Shamrocks closed out the Western Lacrosse Association regular season with a 12-11 victory over the Adanacs in Coquitlam on Saturday night.
Arthur Miller led Victoria with a hat-trick while Liam Phillips added two goals as the Shamrocks rallied from a 4-1 first-period deficit. Clark Walter had two goals on a six-point night for Coquitlam.
The Shamrocks finished 10-7-1 in fourth place and will meet the regular-season champion New Westminster Salmonbellies (15-3) in the WLA playoff semifinals. The other semifinal series will feature the second-place Langley Thunder (14-4) against the third-place Nanaimo Timbermen (12-6). The series schedules are to be announced.
The Adanacs have one game left against the Maple Ridge Burrards, who will also miss the playoffs, along with the Burnaby Lakers. — sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½
