VICTORIA 15 - BURNABY 9
The Bounce Back Kids were at it again Tuesday night.
For the fourth time this season the Victoria Shamrocks have followed a Western Lacrosse Association loss with a victory, this time pounding the Lakers 15-9 in Burnaby following a 10-8 loss to the Timbermen on Saturday night in Nanaimo.
Leading the Victoria attack on Tuesday was forward Cole Pickup who poured in five goals, while Jesse King added a hat trick.
With the victory, Victoria (11-4) moves to within two points of the league-leading Timbermen (12-6), but the Shamrocks have three games in hand.
The Shamrocks now return home and prepare to host the Langley Thunder on Friday night at The Q Centre.
