The event, slated for April 18 at the Metropolitan Grill at Four Points Sheraton in Langford, will be headlined by Shamrocks alumni sharing stories from their lacrosse careers, as well as answering questions from fans. Shamrocks great Kevin Alexander will be joined by fellow alumni Grant Hamilton.
Alexander was a key member of a pair of Shamrocks’ Mann Cup victories in 1979 and 1983. Hamilton was named the WLA most valuable player and led Victoria to its ninth league championship in 1997.
Current Shamrocks Rhys Duch, Corey Small and Tyler Burton will also join in on the discussion.

The Shamrocks are also preparing for Sunday’s St. Paddy’s Day shoot-around to be held between noon and 4 p.m. at Braefoot Park. Members of the senior, junior and intermediate Shamrocks will be participating with children who are invited to bring their helmets, sticks and gloves. Admission is free and smokies and beverages are available by donation with proceeds going to the Saanich Lacrosse Association.
