The TSS Rovers of Surrey captured the Juan de Fuca Plate with a 2-1 victory over the Victoria Highlanders on Sunday at Swangard Stadium.
The Plate is an annual side competition between the lone sa国际传媒 teams in the Northwest Division of the United Soccer League Premier Development League.
The result follows an earlier 3-2 win by the Rovers (4-1-1) over the Highlanders (2-5) at Centennial Stadium. One game remains between the teams this season but the Rovers have assured themselves Plate bragging rights for 2018.
Zach Verhoven scored for the Rovers twice in succession at 39 and 44 minutes while captain Callum Montgomery scored a late goal at 91 minutes for the Highlanders, who were coming off a 2-1 home victory on Friday night over Seattle Sounders U-23.
The Highlanders return to action on June 17 at Centennial Stadium against the Calgary Foothills.
