Two Rebels earn weekly honours

Westshore Rebels players took home two of three sa国际传媒 Football Conference player of the week honours for Week 4.

It included running back Greg Morris's club-record rushing performance as he ran just 12 times for 260 yards and three touchdowns in a 58-0 win over the Chilliwack Huskers.

The total eclipsed his Rebels' team record for yards rushed in one game by one yard as Morris ran for 259 yards on 13 carries against Kamloops one year and one day earlier.

Morris averaged 21.6 yards per carry and accounted for 24 of the 58 points the Rebels scored.

Westshore kicker Quinn Van Gylswyk recorded 14 points of his own off field goals of 47 and 32 yards, seven converts and a single off a missed 37-yard field goal attempt, to be named special teams player of the week.

He also kicked off eight times for 433 yards and punted just twice for 67 yards as Van Gylswyk claimed a weekly award for the second time this season.
