Goteh Ntignee of Westcastle United, recently the youngest MVP in Vancouver Island Soccer League Jackson Cup finals history at age 16, will play summer soccer with the Highlanders.

Forward Victory Shumbusho, the 2017 sa国际传媒 West conference rookie of the year with the UBC Thunderbirds, was also signed by the Highlanders. He had six goals and two assists in 13 games in his sophomore season last year for conference champion and U Sports powerhouse T-birds.

鈥淰ictory is a player who can definitely add goals to our team,鈥 said Highlanders head coach Thomas Niendorf. 鈥淗e has good pace, he is powerful and he can be a real handful. He is an attacking player with good defensive habits and willingness to do the dirty work in the game.鈥

The Highlanders open May 10 at Centennial Stadium against Lane United of Eugene, Oregon.
