The Westshore Rebels moved their undefeated record to 5-0 in the sa国际传媒 Football Conference but the Langley Rams made them work for it Saturday.
Westshore rallied to defeat the Rams (2-2) by a 28-21 count on the Lower Mainland in the Rebels’ tightest game of the season. Langley led 14-7 after the third quarter but Westshore prevailed in a wild, see-saw fourth quarter comeback victory.
Westshore had beaten the Okanagan Sun (3-1) 52-23 in a battle of previous unbeatens last weekend at Starlight Stadium.
Westshore hosts the Valley Huskers of Chilliwack (4-1) in another key home game next Saturday at 4 p.m. at Starlight Stadium.
The winless Vancouver Island Raiders of Nanaimo (0-5) had a bye week and prepare to meet the Sun next Saturday at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna.
