More snow is falling than expected, and arrivals and departures are "extremely limited" at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) at the moment.
Flight schedules at YVR are being adjusted due to "low visibility" and "the heavy rate of snowfall," according the airport's latest update.
Approximately 50 flights have been cancelled so far, and YVR is working with airlines and partners to ensure safe travels for passengers and planes.
However, visibility seems to be improving and carriers are pushing back and heading for de-icing.
Passengers are advised check the latest flight information with their airlines or on before heading to the airport, and leave extra time for their commute.
