The City of Langford has opened applications to artists, food trucks and other small Âbusinesses and vendors to Âpopulate its new Station Avenue market area, set to open next spring.
Langford Station, along the E&N Railway tracks, is a Âpartnership with the Island Corridor Foundation.
It is designed to be a community hub with a focus on arts and culture, food and Âincubator businesses looking to test products and services.
Applications are open for the following:
• Six artist studios are available. Studio space can be rented individually, or multiple artists can share a single studio. The studios will provide an opportunity for artists to showcase their abilities while also offering their goods for sale.
• Six business incubator retail locations are available for rent. These aim to create an opportunity for businesses to test their business model or expand an existing Âbusiness to Langford before Âcommitting to a Âbrick-and-mortar Âlocation. ÂBusinesses will need to Âdemonstrate in their Âapplication how they will contribute to the interactive and consumer Âexperience at ÂLangford Station.
• Six food truck stalls are available for rent daily. Interested food-truck owners must apply and be approved by the City of ÂLangford prior to receiving Âpermission to book dates.
