Dear Helen: My strawberry plants each have one or two leaves turning red and dying. I planted them this spring and they produced a small crop of berries. What could be causing the leaves to deteriorate? E.V.

Dear Tony: We are a 65-unit bare-land strata in the Okanagan. Generally everyone gets along very well, but we have had an obnoxious owner move in who has decided he can do whatever he wants.

In the middle of the back garden is one of my best and聽most imposing plants.

Dear Tony: What happens when an owner refuses to repair water damages to their strata lot? Last year, an owner had a pipe break in his strata lot resulting in $8,000 damage to the drywall and carpets.

The cool temperatures and gentle rains during the latter part of June were a blessing for our gardens and respite for gardeners.

Dear Helen: Last fall, my neighbour allowed me to dig some rhubarb plants from her garden. They are not doing well in my garden. Half of the root sections I transplanted have some yellowed leaves and withered stalks.
