Collection, a bounty of dusty business records, letters and more that tells the tale of one of the oldest real-estate companies on the continent. The company began as Pemberton & Son, then added Holmes to the name in the 1930s. The Pemberton Holmes influence on local history, both in the business world and beyond, is seen in place names like Cuthbert Holmes Park in Saanich, along with Pemberton Chapel and Pemberton memorial operating room at Royal Jubilee Hospital.
