Sorry for the long delay in my blog, but as we say in the plumbing trade "sh%$ happens."
Week six with "Freddy" was as to be expected, [sweat and tears] the difference is I'm doing more cardio on my own. James works my beat up body on the days I'm with him, we only did 4 days together in wk 6.
Dieting is getting way easier and more routine Planning for being away from the house with my snacks took a bit of planning but easy enough to do. All I can say for myself is "STAY FOCUSED.鈥 And tell those little gremlins on either shoulder to bugger off.
Got together with everyone on Sunday for a walk around Swan Lake, [Dennis you were missed]. It was a good blow off steam support get together, thank you ladies.
Monday of week 7 I played duffers hockey at Pearkes [ 35-yrs. and up] my first hockey game since Nov. 2008 [and back surgery].
I'm still smiling, there鈥檚 nothing like putting skates on, picking up a hockey stick and tossing a puck around. I thought I would never do again, Thank you sa国际传媒, and thank you "Freddy Krugger" [James ].
The rest of the week was work, work, work, sweat, sweat, sweat.
Friday I walked from Cook St. and Yates to my workout at Pearkes Gym and it took me 1.5 hrs, a year ago I never would have even thought of ever doing something like that. It would have been a cab or someone picking me up, now its no big deal. It was great, life is good, and only getting better.
Well its Monday of week #8 and I'm going to play hockey again before my workout. I think I'll sleep good tonight.
