There are 53 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in sa国际传媒, bringing the total to 1,174.
Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry made the announcement Friday in Victoria.
Island Health has 74 confirmed cases, up two from Thursday.聽There are 541 cases in the Vancouver Coastal health authority, 412 in Fraser Health, 126 in Interior Health, and 21 in Northern Health.
Henry announced that four more people in sa国际传媒 have died after contracting the virus, three of whom were connected to outbreaks at either the Lynn Valley or Harold Park long-term care centres in the Vancouver Coastal Health region.
There have been a total of 35 deaths in sa国际传媒 related to COVID-19, including two on Vancouver Island.
She said the number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 has decreased by three to 146, with 64 people in critical care, and 641 people have recovered from the disease.
Henry also urged travellers returning to sa国际传媒 to immediately enter self-isolation for 14 days when they get back.
