Immigration brought strength to sa国际传媒
Re: "Immigrants should pay full costs," July 31. I came to sa国际传媒 in 1951 as an immigrant. I did not pay one penny for processing my application for a visa. The government of sa国际传媒 had sent recruiters to Europe to encourage people to apply.

Pit bulls no worse than other breeds
Re: "Pit bull, owner sought after attack on woman and guide dog in park," July 31. Breed discrimination is the same as any other kind of discrimination - and it's not OK. The idea that muzzles should be mandatory for pit bulls makes me cringe.
